At Tots 2 Toddlers, we proudly offer a Creative Learning Curriculum known as CLC, a comprehensive research-based approach that prepares children for success in kindergarten. Our curriculum covers various areas of learning and development, emphasizing the following:

Social-Emotional Development:

Oral Language and Vocabulary

Literacy

We create a literacy-rich environment with hundreds of books, stories, songs, and materials to enhance language and literacy skills. Children also meet the Letter People, friendly characters that teach letters and phonics.

Math

Our PreK program explores numbers, counting, addition, subtraction, sorting, measuring, and pattern matching through fun hands-on activities.

Science, Social Studies, Health, and Safety

We use an integrated, inquiry-based learning approach to ensure children acquire basic knowledge in these areas.

Gross and Fine Motor Skills

Physical development is crucial, and we promote gross and fine motor skills through various activities and games.

A Typical Day

A day in a PreK class at Tots 2 Toddlers is thoughtfully structured to keep children engaged and active. The day typically includes the following activities:

Circle Time

Each day begins with a whole group activity to review recent learning, share news, and prepare for the day.

Developmental Learning Sequences

The day is divided into learning new material during whole-group circle time and practicing in small-group center activities. These activities integrate different subjects and are filled with fun and engaging materials.

Meals:

Children have snacks and lunch together, providing opportunities to learn table manners, etiquette, and the importance of healthy food choices.

Outdoor Time:

Outdoor play is a vital part of each day, allowing children to release energy, socialize, and develop gross motor skills through supervised play.
